More information is needed.

Why are they searching the University area? Is he a student?
Is that his last known whereabouts?
Is he connected with someone felt to be or have been in that area?
Is he believed to be running from someone/something?
Could it have something to do with his recent cranial injury?
Is the provided picture recent?
Why should I be calling Crime Stoppers and not just telling someone he's alright?
Is he dangerous?
Is there a reward?
What does it matter if there is a reward or was that a pathetic attempt at humour?
realy.harbinger nice coment///
what kind of name is harbinger ?the name says it all.
C'mon harbinger, you can be a funny guy at times, but that's NOT funny!
For pete's sakes!
They say the same thing after EVERY missing person report... please contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers...
Look at the picture and keep your eyes open!
Sure Iceburger, but why?

If this guy is just missing, why Crimestoppers? Is he wanted for something? If so, I'd probably treat the situation a lot differently than walking up and saying "Hey Tony! Your mom's been looking for you EVERYWHERE!"
Crimestoppers say they hand out rewards. Just word association. Is all. Geez!
Please note rambleon, the section at the bottom of this missing persons bulletin the part about phoning RCMP or Crimestoppers... They say the same thing with EVERY missing person's bulletin.

I just want to know whether or not these people should be invited inside to use the phone if they come knocking at my, or your door.

Is that too much to ask?
Don't invite anyone into your house to use your phone. Peep through yer mailbox and say to them, "You can use my cellphone". Then tie a string around it and drop it out yer mailbox onto the porch. Under no circumstances let them in. They might be a robber. Just like you might be at your local filling station when you gas up. Be warned.
Actually i took one look at the photo and saw the real humour in Harbingers comment. Yes, it was funny. How can some people be so cynical at some points and sensitive at the next? Now, if the lad should turn up dead, rather than in Ontario say, well the joke will have been in bad taste (in hindsite)
Rambleon: NEVER ask them into your house if you have any doubt about who they are! Phone for them. It s easy and if they turn the offer down say 'ok' and then phone the police.
