I wonder how far back the new ICBC CEO is going to look? A BCTV story says when their camera crew went to the ICBC chop shop in 1998 the real expensive cars were removed before the cameras got there.
Well isn't that nice that Gordon Campbell can offer praise to someone who is responsible for ripping off the average person. I guess that means he belongs to the Campbell club. To gain admission you must do in the average man and some how make the rich get richer.
Another one bites the dust. With no proof he did anything wrong. Like John Les.
They should have just had a drunk driving conviction and they could have kept their jobs.
Typical Liberal crooks, filling their pockets with our money
1998 would be when the NDP were in power. The ICBC chop shop folks just kept their head down when the BC Liberals got elected, and nobody got fired.

The bunch were left over from the days of the NDP. It doesn't matter what government, if those at the top start taking free stuff like a new porch, then so do the rest of the government underlings. Lots of goodies floating around. The BC Liberals were thinking of cutting ICBC loose back in 2000. I wonder if that change would have closed the shop down?
I'm wondering how tight the Looto BC corporation is with their gambling money? Looto BC has a very small tight family structure, it would be interesting to have a look at how well it works.
Looto BC has already had their scandal as well.
Is it just me, or are all political party's corrupt ?
Lunarbase, the parties usually have a set of ideals of which many are worthy of support - it's (like always) some of the people who are in charge and just can't resist the temptation of making easy money on the sly. Once they are given a title, a cushy office and an expense account they think that nobody can touch them.

Remember the Commonwealth Society Bingo scandal?
In answer to your question, Lunarbase _ yes I believe that all parties are corrupt. The score card is pretty well balanced between left and right parties and their scandals in BC while at a federal level it would appear that the Lieberals and Conservatives are about one and the same when it comes to corruption. Many of us have selective memory when it comes to politics but the big picture says they are all corrupt.
Ever wonder why these resignations are always announced late Friday afternnons? That's two in a row now. Wonder what next Friday will have in store. I'm sure it will be page 53 news in the Citizen.
I guess Campbell WOULD praise this guy.....he probably doesn't want to piss him off and have him start telling tales!
I wonder who else bought these vehicles??
And it would be interesting to get a real good inside look at the Lotto B.C.Corporation,but that's NOT going happen Yama!
All they have to do is give the people a sacrificial lamb and everyone forgets about.
Remember Bill Reid MLA for Surrey? Ask. Quite a few years ago. I remember. Nuthin'new, folks.
The same old folly.
"ICBC President and CEO Paul Taylor has resigned as head of the Insurance Corporation. "

And probably waved bye-bye from his freshly rebuilt high end sports car from the ICBC Salvage Yard.
