Merritt, B.C.  -  RCMP  are now looking for  Allan Dwayne Schoenborn in connection with  the deaths of three children in Merritt.

Sunday afternoon, the bodies of three young children were found in their residence. Merritt RCMP and South East District Major Crime are continuing to investigate the incident as a homicide. While no arrests have been made, investigators have been and are continuing to actively search for the children’s father, Allan Dwayne Schoenborn as a suspect.

Schoenborn fled the area prior to the children being found and has not yet been located. There is no indication that Schoenborn is deceased.

Although it appears to be a targeted offence, police are requesting that the public not approach Schoenborn  if located as he may be dangerous and has suffered from a mental illness. He may be traveling with a large dog (Shepherd/retriever cross named Van Gogh) and had previously expressed wishes to camp out in the bush with this dog.

- Caucasian
- Hazel eyes (more yellow)
- Brown hair
- Stubble
- 163 CM (5 feet 4 inches)
- 59 KG (130 lbs)
- Scars: He has a distinct scar on right eyebrow which continues down the right side of his face; and

There's a picture of a fine outstanding looking waste of skin.
Not a very flattering picture, to be sure.
It is too easy to judge people by their looks, but.....................
metalman.
Can't comment on this item on the Globe and Mail Website. Varying laws of freedom of opinion? Jest wunderin'.
How utterly horrific. I can't imagine what the mother is going through.

Of course the piece of crap that committed this atrocity was too yellow to do himself in. Coward. I hope there is a special place waiting for him.
ya a mug shot fer sure....the same ol...was known to police
I hope they throw him in the pen with some of the good old boys.I am sure they will do us all a favor and rid us of him.My heart goes out to the mother. She will have to be one incredibly strong person to get through this.I couldn't imagine anything worse
It just leaves a sick feeling inside. I cant imagine the last moments for those poor children. All the rules and bylaws...and yet anyone can have kids.

You can't go far without getting fuel or a ride. I expect they will find him camping in the bush or dead.

My sincere condolences to the mother, I can't imagine.

IMHO, only a coward would do himself in. Thats the easy way out.
That is one way of looking at it, however I would prefer if the guy checked himself out. It would save everyone a lot of trouble. The man is a coward...if he is responsible for this crime, he killed 3 innocent children...his own no less. He could have done himself in and done us all a favour...but he was too much of a coward to kill himself. This was the definition of cowardice, to take 3 little lives because he couldn't face his own problems.
What else could you call it?
