Spruce Kings Land Three Champion Cariboo Cougars

The Prince George Spruce Kings Junior “A” Hockey Club is extremely excited to announce the commitments of 3 players from the British Columbia Major Midget League Champion Cariboo Cougars.

1990 born forwards R Jay Berra (6’0” 185) and Nicolas DeSousa (5’11” 165)along with 1990 defenseman Justin Fillion (5’11” 175) have all committed to the Spruce Kings’ organization for the 2008/2009 BCHL season.  Berra and Fillion both call Prince George home, while DeSousa hails from Fraser Lake, B.C.

The Spruce Kings’ are pleased to add all three players, who possess excellent offensive abilities and bring great character to the Spruce Kings’ room.  All three players know what it takes to be a championship team, as they went undefeated in the BC Major Midget League playoffs on their way to the provincial title.
