Quesnel,B.C. -    Quesnel Laminators, a small Finger joint plant in Quesel, will cease operations no later than May 31st of this year.

West Fraser,  which owns the company, says  that 12 full time jobs will be affected by the shut down.

The announcement today says the actual closing date of the company is tentative at this time and no date has been set for when the company may re-open.

West Fraser says poor markets are the basis for the closure.

The domino effect keeps on gaining momemtum.
You're right Imorg, and I think it is just warming up unfortunately.
This is unlike anything we have ever had to deal with before, and it's going be nasty and very far reaching.
I'm lucky because I am retired, but I sure feel for those who find themselves out on the street.
My condolences to all concerned.
