Curves goal for 2008 is 15 million pounds to help even more people in need of healthy food.

"While we work to improve the lives of the women in the Prince George area through Curves, we also feel it is important to reach out to others in our community," said Ren, owner of Curves of Prince George North.

"It’s apparent to us that these five Prince George Organizations care about the lives and the health of the people in our community.  We are proud to be able to partner with them to help the Prince George area."

According to MacDonald, one of Curves’ goals is to foster community involvement through charitable efforts.  "Curves has always been dedicated to improving someone’s life--through weight loss or a charitable initiative. It’s exciting to be able to give both to the Prince George community," said MacDonald.
