Food Drive To Benefit 5 Prince George Organizations

Prince George, BC -- Curves of Prince George raised over 1,500 pounds of food from fundraising efforts in the community to benefit five Prince George organizations:
- Phoenix Transition Society,
- Prince George Council of Seniors,
- Prince George Family Services Society,
- South Fort George Family Resource Centre, and
- the Benevolent Fund of the Hart Pentecostal Church.
The fundraising efforts took place from March 1, 2008 to March 31, 2008.
Last year, Curves gathered almost 11 million pounds of food nastion wide during the 9th Annual Food Drive.
Curves goal for 2008 is 15 million pounds to help even more people in need of healthy food.
