You Have GOT to Be Kidding...More Snow?

Prince George, B.C. - Just when you thought the snow was disappearing from your yard, Environment Canada says there is more white stuff on the way.

Cloudy tonight with a few flurries beginning this evening, and 2-4 centimetres of snow! That’s not all, it will be windy. Winds from the southwest at 30 kmph gusting to 50. The temperature will drop to minus 5 overnight.

For tomorrow, a 40% chance of more flurries in the morning a high of minus 1. Windy again and the temperature will drop to minus 11 overnight.

The forecast is definitely not seasonal.

For Prince George, the historic average daily high in April is 5.2 degrees, and the wind is normally in the 10 kmph range.

I've said it before...global warming my (oh can't say that), eye! Look for ice age...of course, gradually. No Henny Penny here.

In the last few years new weather records have been set all over the globe: The hottest , the wettest, the windiest, the coldest, droughts in areas where the never had any before, tornadoes in Europe (!), the glaciers in the Alps are disappearing...the list goes on.

These climate extremes are caused by something, alright. No amount of joking about is going to make any difference. Something is on the move.

Perhaps these are signs of an ice age gradually setting in over the next few hundred years or this earth is going to become so hot that what is left of mankind will have to live in caves - where it lived not that long ago!

Sorry diplomat its always the hottest driest coldest what ever some where every year. It only seems worse because of the wide spread media coverage that is available now. Nothing has really changed except the earth has shown an over all cooling trend for the last ten years.

You said it, ocean doggie. The only constant is change. I believe there is something going on (ie global warming) but I do not think the sky is falling, to paraphrase the first post above.
Come to think of it, I think Colin et al DID promise to bring better weather and cleaner air to the city during the last election campaign.

Your I.D says it all : whocares, as in who cares what you think if you are going to be rude and offensive about it. The fact that some people get so pissed off at people who disagree with them suggests you are not really all that sound in your opinions.
Whether you agree with HD or not, try to keep a civil tongue. Besides, Global warming DID make Al gore famous (as something other than a loser) and does make him a lot of money. Also, if you have done any research at all you will be aware that 'an inconvenient truth has so many inaccuracies in it that Al gore, just by virtue of how many people have watched his documentaries, is the biggest liar in the world.
