The Quesnel Air Quality Round table says the air quality in Quesnel during 2007 were at their lowest recorded levels.

Dora MacMillan, chair of the group says the results are a remarkable achievement for the community. The group says we now know we are moving in the right direction.

It was also reported that total reduced sulfur levels at the down town site were at their lowest levels ever recorded, coinciding with the good work being done by the area pulp mills, says MacMillan.

The Quesnel Air Quality Round Table is a voluntary, multi stakeholder, community driven initiative that has developed a new air quality plan for that community.

What rubbish. Everyone knows that pulp mills don't cause bad air. Just ask our Mayor.
Lotsa round tables these days. Does that say anything about our economy?
hahaa...good one NMG!
Today, April 30, the mill smell in the downtown core was unbelievably bad. Air quality is better ?... who is kidding who ?
