Chetwynd Deceased, Victim of Murder

Chedtwynd, B.C. - RCMP have now classified the death of a person discovered earlier this week as a homicide. The cause of death will not be released.

The  victim has been identified as 46 year old Annie Lenore Davis of Chetwynd.  She was last seen on or about April 16, 2008. Annie would have turned 47 on May 8, 2008.


Annie's body was found at about 7:45 PM on May 6, on Jackfish Lake road,  just north of Chetwynd.

Police are asking anyone with information and particularly anyone who had contact with Annie on or about April 16, 2008, to contact the Chetwynd RCMP at (250) 788-9221 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
