Ft. St John, B.C. - Northern Health has confirmed that Lee Hall, the Chief Operating Officer for the Northeast Region is no longer with Northern Health.

Northern Health spokesperson Mark Karjaluoto says Hall left last week, but the circumstances for her departure have not been detailed.

A new Chief Operating Officer has been hired for the interim. Al Martin, who has held similar positions with Interior Health, and a health authority in Alberta, will take over the reins. “We will be undertaking an active recruitment process for a permanent replacement” says Karjaluoto.

Martin will be involved in the early stages of the development of the new Fort St. John Hospital as that project enters the Request for Qualifications stage. “He will be very helpful as he has experience in capital planning” adds Karjaluoto.

Hmmm...so why did she leave??
Probably because she didn't have the skill set they needed to write up the contract for a P3 partnership hospital, given all the other ones for the province have failed.
IMO I think you hit the point Lunarbase.
