Prince George, B.C. - Police say another two reports of vandalism have been called in. In addition to the string of window smashings reported early Sunday, two more reports were made to police later in the day.

A resident of the 4400 block of First Avenue   called to say someone had done considerable damage to their parked vehicle.   A rock had been thrown so hard, the rear window and windshield were smashed. The rock was left in the vehicle.

Sunday afternoon, police were called to the 2800 block of Athlone Avenue. The homeowner had found the front bay window was smashed with a rock during the early morning. Police say the incident is related to the other window smashing incidents. ( see previous story)

Hope everyone managed to find a glass company that wasn't too busy.
Great oppertunity for the vandals. Everyone has left town. Only one left is the Mare on his convertable waving at the empty shops on Third Ave. So much for downtown development.

Cheers
The rock was left in the car? That is the strangest thing I ever heard. Typically, when people throw rocks through car windshields they reach in to retrieve the rock.

;-)

Now the police will be able to get DNA traces off the flakes of skin left on the rock and make an arrest ......
A few years ago my uncle had his living room window smashed in the middle of the night by some kids in the park next to his house. He went after them with a golf club and one of his neighbors joined in and they caught one of the buggers (18 year olds) and it turns out the guys dad owned one of the local glass shops that was slow on business. So my uncle smashed of the windows on a forklift at his work and called the guy out to come and fix it and then once he had the guy cornered filled him on on the rest. This kind of thing IMO is likely related to one of the glass shops in town... from past experience.
