Ft. St. John, B.C. – A 17 year old male makes his second court appearance today, charged with second degree murder in the death of a 17 year old female in Ft. St. John over the long weekend.

 

RCMP continue to investigate this death. An autopsy was conducted yesterday, but the cause of death will not likely be made public until the matter comes up in court.

 

The 17 year old accused from Edmonton Alberta, and the victim (also from Edmonton) were known to each other and were not residents of Fort St. John at the time the incident on May 18^th.

 

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time upon request of her family.
