Prince George, B.C. - R.C.M.P were kept busy today with two break and enters.  In one case police apprehended an 18 year old male after a resident apprehended the suspect upon breaking into his house and yelled for the neighbor to call police.   The suspect, who appeared high and intoxicated, stated he thought he was at a friends place.  The suspect is not known to police and are holding him until sober with no charges.
In the second incident, a suspect fled on an older white mountain bike with pink front forks after breaking a window to gain entry into a residence. The victim who noticed the suspect on the bicycle followed him in a vehicle but was not successful in locating the suspect. Police are looking for a non- white male approximately 25 years old, wearing a black hat and red sweatshirt.

A non white male? What kind of crap statement is that? Tell it like it is you chicken fuzz! Was he black? brown? red? What, are you afraid of being accused of being rascist? That is really stupid, "Okay everybody" "we are on the look out for a male who is not white, wearing a black hat, and a red sweatshirt.
If apprehended, do not, for goodness sakes make any reference to his gender. So, was it a top hat? a bowler? a derby? or was it a cowboy hat or a ball cap? Every non white male in the city must be quaking in his boots, got the cops giving him the hairy eyeball.
metalman.
It would be nice if they would tell us what neighbourhood it was in.
Your right metalman when you say "what kind of crap statement is that" this gd political correctness nonsense has gone too far.
We had to report a possible B & E a while ago.

My wife gave a description and she was corrected with the NON White statement.

Anyway the RCMP was re-corrected that he was indeed not White and she gave his true description.

Total load of BS ...call it the way it is.....Black, white, Indian, Asian, tall, fat short thin,2 arms ect.....no wonder we can't catch these bottom feeders. Good Lord how in the hell can we be on the lookout for these criminals if there is not an accurate description?

Not trying to defend, but what if the victim couldn't get a good enough look at the suspect so they couldn't tell if the suspect was black, native, asian or whatever, just saying, it is possible that the victim didn't get a good enough look so they just go with non-white as in this case it's obvious the suspect had a darker complextion or they wouldn't have said non-white.
The Olympics are coming and we don't want no trouble with them "non-white" folks. Simple as that. Speaking of political correctness, I am under the understanding that if you don't go to church, you are ecclesiastically challenged. And you don't take yer kid to the woodshed anymore. You take him to the attitude adjustment centre.
I think I know the guy .... he just came back from a few days lying around on the beach. That sun can be a killer to a paleface complexion ......

Officer: "was he white?"

witness: "nope, he was Caucasian, but I think with a dark complexion .. like Spanish or Italian or something"

Officer: "so he was not white?"

Witness: "right. non white"

Officer: "thanks. that narrows it down for me"

An "older white mountain bike with pink front forks" ... yeah right .. and the guy was a guy, eh????? I think pink front forks is a dead give away .......

black hat ..... or cap???
from an edmonton paper ...

crime of the week .... I think we badly need a crime of the week thread on here .....

-------------------------------
A knife-wielding raider made off with cash and smokes before fleeing in a stolen getaway car.

The robber pulled a knife and demanded cash after walking into the Petro-Can service station at 105 Street and 51 Avenue around 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Staff complied with the demand before the con fled.

It appeared he sped away in a white four-door 1995 Mercury Mistique.

The Alberta licence plate was GPY-266 reported as stolen.

The bandit is white with dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey hoodie.

Make a point. Call Crime Stoppers.

notice they don't mince words in Edmonton ... they use "con" instead of suspect ..... :-)

"it appeared he sped away" .... actually it was a trick using large mirrors ....

someone was actually able to see the dark hair under the hoodie ..... :-)
Let's make sure we are always politically correct. Let me suggest; "One suspect was an aesthetically challenged breasted Canadian and is a light-haired detour off the information highway. The second suspect has follicle regression and has a liquid grain storage facility. They were last seen disappearing into a non-white neihbourhood in the company of a low cost provider." Nuff said.
slow news day ..... :-)
Where I come from a spade ia a spade.
Now that is what political correct is .
Nuff said.
Put out a spike belt and catch that get-away bike at Haldi Road out west.
Lets get some vigilante groups going, catch these theives and tie them up, cut of one of their fingers so that they will remember it for the rest of their life that stealing is not right.

Count me in......
I'm surprised that they even referred to gender. Talk about being sexist.
So, a drunk breaks into your home is arrested and held until he sobers up with no charges.
Anyone else see something wrong here?
Yeah, hey? Next time before you commit a crime, just down a bottle of whisky or sniff some glue and no charges will be laid.
