Okay, but how's the moose?
In someone's freezer by now!
Call in the animal activists, have the highway shut down has we have encoached on the moose land
Did the driver have a hunting licence or tag? Was he/she hunting out of season, string him/her up. Call in the CO's.
The sad and sick thing about it is that the meat has to go to waste. You become a criminal if you stop and saw off an undamaged quarter. I heard recently that it is not allowed for the welfare families to benefit from road kill anymore. It used to be that the C.O. could deliver some of the meat to a needy family. Oh, I forgot, welfare people aren't needy, and have rights too. No more forcing them to eat road kill, that would be wrong. It would be good enough for me though, I would love to get an undamaged quarter of moose out of season for free.
metalman.
Just trim around the bruising and hematomas, eh? Yum. Yum!
Well, one could be reassured that the moose hadn't been chased by a hunter for the previous 15 minutes and was all heated up. Meat should be pretty good where there was no bruising or hematomas. I agree that it is disappointing that the meat goes to waste. Why settle for moose when our government provides beef? Chester
