Prince George, B.C. - PGTV News is looking for a new News Director.

After 27 years with the PGTV family, and 26 of those years as News Director for the television station and the two radio stations, Mike Woodworth is stepping down.

He says there is no  specific reason, other than he has had a full time job doing one thing or another since he was 13,  “It’s time,” says Woodworth.

He joined the station in February of 1982 and eight months later became the News Director.

The former producer for the Meisner radio talk show, says he has no plans for the immediate future, that he’s just looking forward to some golf and some travel.

His last day will be June 30th.

Thats a HUGE loss for the PGTV Family. Go have some fun Mike!
I doubt PGTV News would want an owl directing news ... :-)
I would like Owl directing the news :)Maybe we should all direct the news...we could just come up w/ solutions to all of PG's problems and get things done, in 5 yrs PG would be a whole lot different than it is right now - action, action, action...maybe this would make for a good 1/2 - 1 hr show on Sunday nights or something, people could call in...it would ROCK this city! hahahahahahah...
Don't worry Owl there are more than just the news people that wouldn't want you there either. ;-)
I never watch it if I don't have too. Where do they get those nerdy newcasters? Guess everyone has to start at the bottom.
Oh, yeah, maybe the new guy knows someone who can rent the first floor of the joint. Seems to me they have been trying to flog it off fer years. Too much rent or questionable location. Pick one.
