Prince George, B.C. - So, you want to see what’s new with the Cameron Street Bridge Construction, but you don’t want to actually drive to the site to see the activity. Well as luck would have it, the site is closed to the public, so no more pedestrians or bicycles going across the bridge.
In order to keep you up to date on what’s happening, the City of Prince George has installed a web cam.
The web cam will give you a view of the construction of the Bridge, and will be update every hour.
The work is to take place in the following stages:
- Construction of the Pier caps and abutments (early summer)
- Demolition of the Existing Timber structure (later summer)
- Reconstruction of the Road intersections (summer and fall)
- Construction of the two lane Concrete Superstructure (later summer and fall)
