Prince George, B.C. – The Simon Fraser Bridge worksite is missing a few items due to a theft during the early hours of May 5, 2008.

Although the theft occurred in May, R.C.M.P believe due to the unique nature of the items, those who stole the items may only be starting to sell or pawn the items now to stay under the radar.

R.C.M.P are asking the public for assistance with any information regarding the following items:

1- 25 ft wire feeder
8- 25 ft welding leads
4- 15 ft ground whips
4  15 ft stinger whips
8  terminal lugs
1  oxy bottle cart
1  oxygen and 1 acetylene bottle and regulators
1  100 ft oxy-acetylene hose
2- 900C Vector cutting torches
1  unknown brand battery charger

I hate thieving lowlifes.
Who needs welding stores, or a rental centre when you can buy what you want, cheap at the local pawnshop?
Especially when you could have bought it three weeks ago.
I'm guessng the police are checking the pawn shops...because of the "nature of the items" the scumbag thieves may only now be pawning them...hello...if they want to stay under the radar they won't be pawning them in PG - although I have no clue as to the value of these items. It's just sad, but it does happen everywhere.
A welder on his way to the oil fields of Alberta ..... long gone.
Maybe the Fraser ate it.
what would the value of all of these items be?
