Arrest In Dawson Creek Heist

Dawson Creek, B.C. - RCMP have arrested a 60 year old man in connection with a robbery yesterday at the Bank of Commerce in Dawson Creek.

Last evening, police located a man matching the description of their suspect, further investigation revealed the man had a large sum of money.

He has subsequently been arrested and will face a charge of robbery.

He is to appear in Court on Tuesday June 17th. The name of the accused has not been released.

He was probably stealing so he could have 3 squares a day. Now he's got his wish for a few months. Not a lot to lose when you're 60 and robbery convictions in Canada get what a pot possession conviction would get in the states.

Kudos to the BC Civil Liberties Association for working for a provice free of fascist cops. In late May, Ridge-Meadows RCMP chased a mentally ill man who was driving a semi trailor. At one point in the chase, the man bumped an unoccupied cop car. Later, police stopped the truck and the man began to walk away only to be struck by a cop SUV. The Taser inquiries are proven conclusively: cops don't want to disturb their hair sprayed coifs. That is why they conduct repeated Taser charges into persons, rather than using physyical force. Two RCMP savages from the same detachment have already been convicted of assault this year.

I suppose that the spineless, pro-cop weasels who defend murder by cops here, would indulge one of our underpaid and overworked savages who ran over a jay-walking suspect. Can't happen? Until recently Vancouver transit cops were tasering persons for non payment of fares. Those slugs think this is Nazi Germany.

A mentally ill man driving a semi-trailer? Bumped into a police car? This nut stole the semi and drove like an idiot during rush hour traffic ramming a police car in the process. He didn't make it up the hill as the spike belts had taken out the tires. He was running away was hit by the police suv and taken into custody. The BCCLA should be ashamed for wasting more of the taxpayers dollars. Truth, you have some serious mental health issues.
