Two  vintage vehicles from the '30's all shiny and  new!

Prince George, B.C. - Call it a mini show and shine. The owners of about 30 of the vehicles that will be part of   tomorrow’s Father’s Day Show and Shine set for downtown Prince George,   had a practice run at the Hart Mall             this evening.
After taking their vehicles to some of the senior’s homes in town, the owners took their cars to the Hart Mall, where “Barb’s Place “ was offering burgers at 1960’s prices!
The owners are hoping this will whet your appetite to see even more of the vehicles, like the Lotus shown at right, which will be on display          tomorrow in downtown Prince George from 10:00 till 3:00
Entrance to the Father's Day  event is $2 per person.

Sure was nice seeing them old cars and trucks last year at the show and shine. Gonna see them tomorrow, too. All three hundred or more of them. The day after, they disappear for another year. Maybe the owners will regret not driving them as much when gas prices go into the stratosphere soon. There are about a handful of cars I see regularly around town all summer. Still, if that is your bent, trailer it home and put a flannelet blanket over it and haul it out next year. Such fun!! Me? I drive mine almost daily (due to rising gas prices) til the snow flies. Sissies.
We'll be there with ours, it's bright red. Come and see it along with many others. Sure hope the weather cooperates.
Gas prices will come down soon.
Where did they pick up my old Chevvy. First car I ever owned. Paid $450.00 at a used car lot. Big powerfull six. Engine had more metal in it then the Fraser bridge.

Hey Pal can I waite till my next fillup for the price to drop?

Cheers
