Upon the arrest and subsequent search of these individuals, 111 grams of cocaine and $4705 cash was located and seized. Members of the Drug Section then applied for and received authorization to search the homes of the suspects.  Another $36,940 was seized during this search. The investigation continued and the Drug Section received another search warrant for a safety deposit box in Coquitlam. Upon searching this safety deposit box, an additional $40,000 was seized.

On June 8, 2008 just before 4:00 am Backcountry Sports store, located at 10120 Alaska Road, in Fort St. John was broken into and numerous hand guns were stolen from the store. Members of the Fort St. John RCMP immediately responded to the scene and were able to locate the vehicle that was used to ram through the front doors. The vehicle was abandoned and a Forensic examination was conducted of the vehicle and the store.

On June 10, 2008 a female was arrested as she was leaving a residence on the 10200 block of 102 Avenue in Fort St. John. Over one ounce of cocaine was located in her possession. The female, who is from Fort St. John, is now facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and resisting arrest.

On June 11, 2008, shortly after midnight, a vehicle stop was conducted on two suspected high level drug traffickers. As a result of information learned during the course of an ongoing investigation into these two individuals, the two suspects were arrested and their vehicle was seized. Following their arrests, search warrants were executed on two residences associated to the suspects. As a result of the execution of the search warrant, the following items were seized:

In light of evidence collected during the traffic stop, the vehicle was searched by the attending member and a large bag of handguns was located in the vehicle. Good work Fort St. John RCMP. And I bet they didn't have to use their tasers once ;-)

ya and these individuals would be the ones to be using the tasers on!! even for accuracy practice!!
Now, only if the judges could do a good job, we could have something to be thankfull for. Not guna happen..
Book'em Danno!
Giter said it, but we can hope, can't we?
metalman.
Good work. Keep it up.
Great job by the RCMP, I only hope the courts support them and put these people away for a while.
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do when they come for you, Bad boys, bad boys.
Must have quite a customer base to continue running drugs, guns and cash. No fear of getting caught apparently, just jump in the car and keep on breaking the law. Why wasn't the fellow arrested in Ft. St. John not locked up?

Or, do the judges just let them go so they can keep the RCMP busy padding their stats. Arresting the same people over and over is not my idea of justice. Chester
Maybe these druggies could get the R.C.M.P. to taser them for a rush to both sides, crank up the batteries and justice will be done! Using a electric fence box from the feed store - a vigilante could make a real powerful diy taser and leave some business for the undertaker- the cops would take the rap and society would be rid of some undesirables. Are you gainfully employed during these tough times ? makes a good make work project.
What happens to all the money seized? The RCMP should keep this money and fund their budgets. This would be more incentive to crack down on all drug dealers.
kudos to the RCMP!!! thats a lot of crap that stayed off the streets!! Keep up the good work!!
