Don't get in a rush to leave town people - no one is electing an NDP government just yet!
Both great opportunities for those looking at available employment options!

Yama: what a ridiculous comment! This has NOTHING to do with your (or anyone else's) political stripes!!
...other than the fact that the whole point of the NDP is to pay people NOT to work? Get a job, hippie!
I've seen some stupid comments from people on this site, gamblor, but your's must be the single most idiotically asinine one yet!
Cork says "..Yama: what a ridiculous comment! This has NOTHING to do with your (or anyone else's) political stripes!!.."

Not strips, tracks! The last time the NDP was in power people were making tracks leaving town to find work. They mostly stayed in Canada but I know two that went to the USA for a while.

Doesn't the fact people who are looking for work, and leaving town to find it, remind you of the last half of the NDP rein of terror?

All I'm saying is, if there is anything that can be done to encourage investors and business opportunities in BC - the BC Liberals can do it. It's not like we also have to contend with an NDP government as well when looking at our future job prospects.

So don't rush out of town just yet. You too Cork.
ok Yama...lol...I'd miss you too...

Just remember, governments inherit the economic cycle they don't create it, *sigh*.
Here's a couple of quotes for you Yama. Do your thing and blame the NDP or Unions.

A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Yama.

A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.

Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.

If the Libs are so great at bringing in business, where is it? The world economy is starting to slow and we're still trying to get the ball rolling. People left B.C, when the last boom ended and they came back for the short beetle boom. All the job fairs are for Alberta companies. PG has had no new major industries in years. Our last big mine opening was kemess under the (YIKES!) NDP. Yama, you give the NDP too much credit, and the Libs way too much credit. Neither of these circus acts effect our economy they just play for a different audience. The southern interior construction boom is due to Albertans flush with money, buying second homes. And, the lower mainland boom is our tax moneys paying for the Olympics. The party you're cheerleading for will be remembered for corporate pandering and carbon tax!
