Thank you all for your postings, e-mails and phone calls about the ability to  have direct access to comment  on stories  on Opion 250.com

It is clear from your calls, e-mails and postings attached to  the story "Important Notice"  you do not want to have your ability to access this site impeded in any way.

You are correct in thinking that no matter how good the intentions may be,  when it comes to who will or won't be heard, bias can creep in.

After careful consideration we have decided we  will continue to allow this open process of direct involvement on Opinion 250.com but we will need your help.

We remain very impressed with  the efforts of many "commentors" who try, not only to police themselves, but also try to ensure others  stay within the boundaries.

We are grateful for your help and your interest.

True free speech grants everyone the right to be heard, and Opinion 250 is listening.

As we have said in the past,  we want to ensure you enjoy this forum and we hope in the future you will also do your utmost to assist us with the policing.

With your  help, you can spark debate, share ideas and opinions  which will give us the opportunity to work on bringing  you the news and information  of the day in this region we know as the "2-5-0".

Thank you

I'm glad. It's a good and wise decision.

Excellent. Sanity reigns. :P
I think recognition is due for the publisher.

We all know how easy it would be for a publisher to start censoring views when slander is used against the publisher who is paying the bills and providing the forum.

I think it takes a big person to recognize the value of free speech after being burned for providing a place for it.
I'd like to bring a lot more sanity, if I could.

Regardless of who we are, whether or not we use some fictious name, the "IP address" is listed for all who post here. It does not take much to track down who is who.

So, all who are in good conscious understand that fictious names are meant for "privacy." They do not lessen the valuation of opinion? INsight can be added from many perspectives and I think this is okay and what helps us determine the truth of the situation. Armed and ready, with our sources.

In regards to anonimity, this site must assure and have ground rules for forum etiquette. When you sign on, you agree to conduct becoming.

Isn't that what we are after. Debate? Better insight? Leads to other sources, for better decisions?

This is where this medium can greatly penetrate "own systems" of news and views, and escape the influence of capitalistic and faulty biased visionaries systems.

"Freedoms of speech" with eitquette and dialogued, is a ole way to do things. I know:)
I travel a lot for work, and thus i miss much of what happens on this forum.
But i was shocked to read the goings on of late.

Pretending to be another person is so wrong.

I love this forum, and even the people who have differing views than myself.
We may disagree some of us, but i hope we can all agree to disagree like rational people.
Thanks for keeping the forums open to all of us.
Even the crazy ones like me!

Cheers

Marty
