Prince George, B.C. – The Coroner’s office in Prince George has confirmed there will be an inquest called into the overnight death of a woman in Prince George RCMP cells.

An inquest is mandatory when the death occurs while  "in custody".

The Coroner’s office has also confirmed an autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow in Kamloops.

The female was one of two people taken into custody for being intoxicated in a public place just before 1:00 this morning near the College Heights pub. The RCMP say the intent was to release the male and female when they were sober.

The female was found in cells early this morning unresponsive. The B.C. Ambulance service was called and efforts to revive her were unsuccessful.

The female’s name has not yet been released.

RCMP spokesperson, Constable Anne Linteau, says there has been no indication there was any use of a taser in this case.

sad they have to make a point to note that tasers were not used in this incident.
Actually that is not what it states. It says that there has been no indication ..... playing it safe since she likely can't be 100% certain ...
You'd think the rcmp were to blame for not checking on the female prisoner every 15 minutes or so...however, the guards are employed by the city of PG...so I hope they have deep pockets.
Alcohol poisoning sounds likely...
If she passed out, RCMP servants were bound to have her checked out. People don't lose their right to demand care from BC's overpaid and under worked blue parasites, just because they become alcoholics.

Reminder: the Justice Institute of BC prescribes a paltry 65 instruction, prior to placing a cop on the street in an intern role. If cops are "professionals" then they are at the bottom of the barrell.
See a NAZI Aussie cop smash a woman's head on a car trunk, while another savage beats up her uncle. None of this was necessary. Police insist on using excessive force. Even if the young girl did spit on the cop - not proven in court - she did so in reaction to cop savagery.

Did the deceased woman assert rights, only to be beaten to death by cops? Maybe yes, maybe no, but we won't know until police are under the public thumb. They should NOT be investigating each other. The result of same is always exhoneration of the Nazi.
This has gone far enough. Opinions are one thing but this idiots constant referral to Nazis and the inference of the officers beating this woman to death are quite insulting to say the least. The "Truths" libellous, repetitive posts appear to have the tacit approval of Opinion 250. Disgusting but not surpising.
I second that Chilako. "truth" certainly is one whacked out individual.
By the way, the woman committed suicide by wrapping some kind of a string around her neck axphisiating herself.
Chilaki and imort are afraid of the truth. They cannot deny that BC's Justice Institute - I have visited it - prescribes only 65 days training to make a cop. They are glorified security guards (they get 10 days training).

I call police service worthless because that is exactly what it is. Blue slugs deliver 1 conviction per unit per month and 1 incarcerated person per year. They protect themselves alone. If you don't want to work for a living, become a slug.

Let's see what PG's local donut dunkers are doing. LOL! Only 4 pages and most of these are multiple charges. Almost none require anything remotely involving an investigation.

Cops do NOT know the law that they enforce. If they weren't policing, they would be flipping burgers. Chilaki: some of us have a copy of Carswell's Police Officers Manual. Pretty Mickey Mouse. Understanding the elements of crime is for 5th graders. Stop attacking Ben Meisner.

WANT TO MAKE A FRAUD ARREST?: BE AROUND WHEN A COP CASHES A PAY CHEQUE.
lol Truth I wish I had your balls...I still believe though that we have a lot of nonlmorg's out there. :)
Truth have you heard anything about the tasering that happened here in P.G. outside of one of the bars? Was the guy handcuffed then tasered? I need to do some googling.
