Prince George, B.C. - Three people have been killed in a head on collision on Highway 16 west near West Beaverly road.
RCMP say an east bound car crossed the center line and collided with a west bound pick up just before 11:00 last night.
All three occupants of the care were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and lone occupant of the pickup was transported to Prince George Regional Hospital with undetermined non life-threatening injuries.
Two of the three occupants of the car were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car upon impact.
Police continue their investigation and say erratic driving and alcohol are being examined as possible contributing factors.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
