I agree with the caning and boot camp suggestion whole heartedly.
The problem is that it will never get past those pansy bleeding hearts that have gotten into this Dr spock child rearing methods.
It is these child rearing concepts that have brought Canadian society here.
Youth do not respect personal space or fear any consequences because of it.

The next set of kids I raise will summarily consequenced with appropriate corporal punishment.

The Guardian Angels idea is a good one, but with the emphasis on political correctness and having to be trained & certified to do most anything today, could it ever even get off the ground in Canada?

Getajob - great idea with the Guardian Angel plan. I'd join in a heartbeat. I'd love to help boot some ass around. This bullshit drives me crazy. These punks do whatever the hell they want, because they know they can.

The major problem with our government and our society as a whole is this:

Here's what would happen on night number one of Guardian Angel night watch: Myself, getajob and few other good folk, would walk the streets between 5th ave and 15th ave from 10pm - 5am. During this time we'd run into more than our share of loser drunks, punk kids up to no good, and theives of all sorts. We'd probably get into a confrontation or two with some punks and then we'd be charged with injuring a minor or something like that.

Well guess what folks, I got spanked growing up all the time when I did something wrong. Does that make my parents bad people? Not a chance. They did a great job raising me as I've never robbed a store or stolen private property or asaulted someone on the street for no good reason.

I love my parents for how I was raised. I was raised to respect other peoples shit and the major problem today is that parents either GIVE their kids too much or they don't teach them the value of something. Plain and simple. Rant over. I feel a tad better now.

Probably has to fill his car up for the big date this weekend.
