Cat-Of-A-Different Sort To Take Stage At CN Centre
Prince George, B.C. – It will be a first at CN Centre this spring – it’s unlikely there will be any Cats present for this catwalk…
The ‘home’ of the Prince George Cougars will play host to the city’s first ever Fashion and Design Festival on May 4th and 5th.
In a news release forwarded from CN Centre, a marketing and media management company based in Nova Scotia is announcing plans for a two day show that, "allows emerging designers and more established designers the opportunity to show their new creations for this season."
Buchanan and Co owner, Linda Buchanan, says the high-profile event launches Friday afternoon with a media party set for 4:30pm, where "stilettos are a must!" The doors open to everyone 90-minutes later where it’s promised the runway will feature designers launching their new style line-ups.
Saturday the 5th is promised to be an entire day about fashion, beauty, and entertainment with model searches, fashion shows and vendors representing the fashion and beauty industries that will "energize the CN Centre all weekend".
A similar festival is set for Victoria at the end of April.
