Prince George, B.C.- Two of the four men accused of kidnapping a Prince George man, are scheduled to make brief court appearances today.
32 year old Michael Andrew Joseph Fitzgerald and 35 year old Craig Anthony Niedermeyer each have an appearance scheduled for today.
The appearances are expected to be brief and are expected to set further court dates on the kidnapping count. The two remain in custody.
Two other men accused in this case, Francois Meerholz, and his brother Dillan, also remain in custody and have court appearances late this month. Dillan is scheduled to be in court on the 9th of May, while Francois is expected to make his next appearance on the 23rd of May.
Each of the four men face a single count of kidnapping in connection with a case which had a 27 year old man kidnapped, held against his will and assaulted in rural east Prince George. The man had managed to escape and turned up at a community hall on the 15th of April. He was then taken to hospital for treatment of serious, but non life threatening injuries.
