Everyone should draw a picture of the mills and every redneck with a high performance diesel truck.

Tims gonna shut down their drive thru on Victoria St. with their fifteen customers waiting and idling most times of the day? And right across the street is a “no idling zone”. Wow! What a town, eh? Should be renamed Contradiction, B.C.

A lot of idling pollution could be eliminated if some of our main intersections would be converted to roundabout traffic circles! Fifth & Central, Fifteenth & Central, #97 & #16…of course!

Never mind protecting the air, we have seen that is impossible in this community for some micro airshed reasons as well as ignoring that simple fact and allowing industry to stay in the air shed decade after decade after decade.

So, the only realistic option is to protect the indiviudal user of the air by moving or wearing masks.

What an idiotic world we live in. We chit in our own nest.

I think these kind of exercises show that there are some of us who are playing along with the system that is broken. As long as we do that and don’t get serious, nothing is going to change.

Think about this. A year from now the provincial election will be over. So this poster is an opportunity to sen d a message to the political parties. The image should look something like this:

1. 3 images of the same smokestack with blue smoke coming from it; a figure above that which shows the tons of PM2.5 emitted per year which should be the same for each image.

2. Above each image are written the words:

Picture A: Prince George air emissions under the BCLiberals

Picture B: Prince George air emissions under the BC Conservatives

Picture C: Prince George air emissions under the BC NDP.
