Public Invited to Shape Role of Seniors Advocate

Prince George, B.C.- There will be a special public consultation session in Prince George next month to help shape the future role of a seniors advocate in B.C.
This input will help define options for the role and function of the Office of the Seniors Advocate, including how the office could collaborate with existing organizations.
The Prince George session is one of ten being held in communities around the province, and is set for June 25th. It will be held at the Prince George Civic Centre.
The sessions are being set up in two parts. The morning session, 9-noon, will involve meeting with invited stakeholders. Then in the afternoon, from 1:30 to 4:30, members of the public are invited to attend what is described as an open forum to share their thoughts and experiences.
Although all who would like to attend are being asked to pre-register (because seating is limited) those unable to attend in person are invited to submit their thoughts on the role of the Senior’s Advocate by the end of July by email or written letter.
To register to attend the public meetings in person, you can phone 1 855 356-9614 or email: SeniorsAdvocate@gov.bc.ca

Harper just gave the seniors a kick in the butt and now I guess he wants to make up by letting Cristy Crunch take the heat.
Cheers
Seniors Advocate should be an over taxed cranky old fart of a guy who is never satisfied about anything. (oops!)
