Prince George Search and Rescue has been in operation since the early 60’s and in the years since then, 5 have served 30 or more years.
During that time, they have served as search managers, and on the executive in addition to educating the public about safety while in the back country.
The five are considered "the history" of Prince George Search and Rescue and were each awarded a certificate of appreciation from Mayor Shari Green before Council started its regular meeting.
