Prince George, B.C.- It may be another day or two before the identity of the deceased recovered from the Fraser River yesterday is known. (see previous story)
Northern Regional Coroner Donita Kuzma confirms, the deceased is an adult male, but says it is too early to jump to any conclusions that it may be anyone who has been reported missing.
The body was first spotted near Fort George Park early Sunday afternoon, and was recovered from the Fraser near Lansdowne, an area that had been searched just a month ago for a male missing since late May.
At this point, there is no word on whether the deceased is a victim of foul play which would make it an RCMP criminal investigation.
