No Record Heat In P.G.

Prince George, B.C. –Today was hot, but no record breaker in Prince George.
The temperature peaked at 30 degrees at 6:00 tonight. That’s a full three degrees lower than the 33 degrees reached on this day in 1990.
As for the record low, that was zero and that was August 5th of 1947.
The normal high for this time of the year is 24 degrees.
Tomorrow is expected to be steamy one, with a high of 30 again.
There were several records broken in the lower mainland and in Victoria. The hot spot in the Province? Ashcroft, which hit 39.5 degrees today.
