I understand we live in Canada but do the freaking debit machines have to give you a language choice?

The ones I have used in Vancouver let me choose among English, French, and Chinese. The best I have used though was in Philadelphia, where I used a machine that gave a choice of: English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, and German.

Thanks Pierre, (zombie & dilataunt) As far as I’m concerned, the government is spending my money subsidizing the culture of a foreign nation, and most particularly, the promotion of a dying language. Oh, and talk about poor morale in the RCMP these days, I remember years ago when bilingual members got $80 extra per month. Now that caused some problems big time…
And, this was the same idiot that criminalized British culture and gave the finger to our biggest trading partner by introducing forced metrication in Canada.
