St. Clair Back Doing Play By Play

Wednesday, September 19, 2012 @ 2:09 PM

Prince George, B.C.- Ron St. Clair,  will be joining the Prince George Spruce Kings in the play by play booth. He joins, Peter James, Todd Doherty and Ron Gallo in bringing the call of the game to the FastHockey.com pay-per-view and CFIS-FM radio station broadcasts.

“We’re excited to be adding Ron St. Clair into the mix,” said Spruce Kings Communications Director, Ron Gallo. “He brings experience, knowledge and professionalism to the team’s broadcast. He will also be able to work as a mentor for everybody that contributes to the fan enjoyment of the game.”

St. Clair was the voice of the Prince George Cougars for several years and has called over 1500 junior and major junior games in his broadcasting career.  He is anxious to  get back behind the microphone, “I’m extremely excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to call hockey again.  One of my fondest memories as a broadcaster was calling the semi-final game between the Spruce Kings and Camrose Kodiaks that went to a 5th overtime during the 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup tournament.”

He will provide the play-by-play for the game this Saturday September 22nd when the Spruce Kings host the Merritt Centennials in the Prince George Coliseum at 7:30pm.
