Special playhouse purchased by BID Group was part of Canfor Challenge – submitted photo
Prince George, B.C.- The Canfor Playhouse Challenge has ultimately resulted in a positive for the Family Y in Prince George.
The Challenge called on architectural firms and builders to come up with creative designs for playhouses.
The designs were brought to life, and displayed at the PNE where corporations then bid on their favourites with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity.
Today, Canfor’s CEO Don Kayne was in Prince George to dedicate one of these special playhouses. It had been assembled by students at BCIT and was purchased by the BID Group.
BID Group wanted the playhouse donated to the Family Y in Prince George and that’s where it now stands.

I love it!! Something a bit different.
But can it fly?
A representative model of the plane that will serve Canfor & Bid executives. What better way to make a statement in the wood industry? Good old Spruce Goose.
metalman.
If it coud fly, they would have had to build a landing strip at the Y …..
