Everyone is invited to attend, use the Twitter hash tag #BCBizChat.
The event has been scheduled so the Minister can hear from you about what the government should focus on to make it easier for business in B.C, to do business. Your input will help the government decide if recommendations need new programs, or policy changes.
The Twitter-Town-Hall is set to take place from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight.

I wonder what kind of response they will get.
One would think that after a hundred years more or less of doing business in BC, people would know how to go about it.
In addition business has been telling the Government for years what they should and shouldnt do, however to little or no avail.
“what the government should focus on to make it easier for business in B.C, to do business”
Keep the HST for starters…
I got a better idea interceptor . Lets let business and corporations keep the PST.
Thats what the people want, and thats what they voted for, and thats what business and corporations are going to get. Good old PST. Gotta love it, if business hates it, it must be good for people.
yup business scaling back and leaving the province is good for people alright… bring on the ndp and we wll be back to 15% unemployment, That’ll teach “the people”
Name one business that is scaling bacl or leaving the Province because of the PST.
If that was the case they would have left long before when the PST was first introduced.
This twitter stuff is for twits. What a shame our government is going all twitter these days. Says a lot about their competence. It just dumbs down the whole conversation into 150 characters so that meaningless drivel can be construed as great sloganeering.
Shirly Bond takes the cake with her comment that the province was on the ball with their emergency response to the earthquake/tsunami when she talked of all the Tweets they sent out to warn everyone. Bloody ridiculous is what it is.
What you said Eagleone. Every word.
