Prince George, B.C. – Ft St John was the home for the first baby born in the Northern Health region in 2013. Sarah Nicole Correlle-Martinez was born in Ft St John Hospital at 12.15 local time this morning.

Sarah weighed 5 pounds 14 ounces. The proud parents are mom, Rebecca Correlle and Dad Leonardo Martinez of Ft St John.

Dawson Creek followed close behind when Bentley Berg was born at 1.15am. Local time. The baby boy weighed in at seven pounds, eight ounces. His proud parents are, Kailey and Dad Riley, of Dawson Creek.

Here in Prince George our first baby was born at 3.20 local time. ( he is shown in photo at right, photo courtesy Northern Health) The parents are, mom Jennifer and Dad, Steve Hohmann, of Quesnel. The baby boy weighed nine pounds, one ounce. He was welcomed into the world by his four older sisters and an older brother.
