Prince George, B.C. – They came in costumes, and they raised money, all for the "right" to take part in the annual Polar Dip at the Ness Lake Bible Camp north west of Prince George.
About 40 people lined up to take a dip, an event which is meant to raise money to help pay the way for kids who would otherwise not be able to go to camp.
The ice was about 16 inches thick, and with the Ness Lake Volunteer Fire fighters standing by, one, by one, the dippers made the plunge. Organizers say the event raised nearly $4,000.00

Looks dam cold!
It can’t be all that cold: it’s at least 0C.
It would be cold to me but then I remember coming out of a hot sauna straight into the snow at -35 and it was great! Sauna first though. Standing around waiting your turn would cool one off too fast to recieve the benefit you get from hot to cold. Then snow too, is much better to go into.
What? No bikinis?
