Burst Of Colour Ends Day

Clouds skirt across the brilliant orange sky giving a ‘showy’ end to daylight, as the sun slips below Cranbrook Hill

Prince George, BC – After a mainly cloudy skies, city residents finishing up their Saturday afternoon shopping were treated to a final burst of colour as the sun bid farewell for the day…

For a few minutes, yellow clouds danced across the horizon in front of the orange and pink hued sky, putting on a spectacular display.

There is a slight chance of flurries tonight and throughout the day tomorrow, otherwise it will be a mainly cloudy start to the week. 

The temperature will hold steady tonight at -5, with a just a slight warming tomorrow to -4.

Great day for a drive.

I used to mourn the lodgepole pine that were devastated by the mountain pine beetle as they had to be logged behind our house but, silver lining in the cloud, it opened up the view of skies like that in the picture above.
