I wonder how many pot holes that bridge I’ll never use would of fixed

Your so cruel, potholes.

Isnt it wonderfull that we have this “winter wonderland”. Be nice if we could have some “summer wonderland” as well insteas we have empty parking lots and more aspalt to look at.
Cheers

I loved seeing the replica bridge when I was in PG for a visit and taking in Cottonwood Park. It brought a smile to my face actually. PG needs more things like that IMHO. It would add character to the town, character that is so desperately lacking.

You got that right NMG.
Cheers

ONLY 425,000 PG dollars for that bridge to nowhere! Another well thought out City Council plan. I could have built that bridge by hand in one year all by myself. I would have charged 120,000 dollars including the install. The majority of us would still hate the waste of money. Hell, 15,000 would easily build a good solid foot bridge as well as install it.

The bridge looks fabulous! That is one of the most beautiful spots in PG, year round.

traveller, I thought that the bridge was built with non-City funds. I thought it was some off-shoot Rotary fundraiser (or the people doing the fundraising were from a Rotary club) or something like that.

Thanks for the additional winter pictures
attached. Paddlewheel Park, Playground @ DuchesPark and the view of the river are my favorite.
