Quesnel Police Investigate Suspicious Incident

Monday, January 7, 2013 @ 1:26 PM
Quesnel, B.C.- RCMP in Quesnel are hopeful someone will come forward with information on a suspicious incident that happened last Friday.

Around 10:30 Friday morning, members of the Quesnel detachment of the RCMP   responded to a call on Baker Drive where they located a person, highly intoxicated, laying in the snow. Police believed the person was in “hypothermic distress” and they believe an assault may have taken place. The alleged victim was too intoxicated to offer much assistance to police.

The person was taken to GR Baker Hospital for treatment, and has since been released.

Police cordoned off the area and collected evidence. The scene was cleared around noon on Saturday.

The investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Quesnel Detachment at 250-992-9211 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8422)

As I read the “….. they located a person, highly intoxicated, laying in the snow.” a smirk crossed my face, as it always does when reading or hearing that term used so often by people in PG.

So my question is, what was it that the person was laying in the snow.

;-)

Another PG favorite… “I seen…”

As in… “I seen a car drive by”.
