Monday, January 21, 2013 @ 3:00 PM

Quesnel, B.C. – The Provincial New Deomcrats have selected Duncan Barnett as their  Caroiboo North candidate for the May election.

Barnett is a  former Cariboo Regional District Dirctor who spent 10 years in that post.   He is also  the former  President of the Cariboo Cattlemen’s Association and has owned an operated a reanch near Williams Lake for nearly 20 years.

"The Cariboo is a beautiful place that I’m proud to call home" says Barnett  who says he will work hard to  earn the votes of  the people in the region.

Great stuff to see a rancher that knows where we need to go .
Cheers

Sit on the horse and put it into automatic. It will take you back to the barn. In fact, it may not leave barn. :-)

Although I don’t care much for the NDP, it’s good to see the party picking someone who is knowledgeable of the problems or concerns the constituents have in that area. I wish him well.

Deomcrats? Caroiboo? Dirctor? reanch?

Wow…

yeah, I gotta admit, that spell check technology is almost ready for 250 to try out.

Ex-Pat:
So what? After a hard days work, haven’t you ever sat back and had a couple? LOL

Two NDP candidates from Williams Lake?……..I don’t think so.

Charley Wyse is a has been who never did anything but talk (oops doesn’t that sound like every NDP MLA you ever knew???)

I think the Liberals will prevail in the two Cariboo ridings. Donna Barnett has done a great job and the Liberal candidate from Quesnel (Coralea Oakes)has demonstrated her ability in spades…she should easily win the vote in Cariboo North.

Regardless of who gets in, we are in a mess.

Its unbeleivable that we have come to this point. Liberals on the one side that you cant trust, and NDP on the other side who are incapable of governing.

Citizens of BC in the middle getting it in the ear.

Barnett should have done more homework before he had Zirnhelt by his side in the past three weeks. Here is a former Minister of Forests who almost single handidly screwed over a forestry firm, had tax payers cough up $150 million as a result and proved once again that most NDP thought processes are flawed.

“lets just hope we don’t get another majority government”

Kind of hard to get a minority government with just two parties capable of attracting a meaningful number of votes.

^^^ Bingo. Forget about a minority government. It won’t happen.

“The” Zirnhelt who didn’t log parks with pine beetles? I remember him.
