Boston Marathon Blasts Claim At Least Two Lives

Prince George, B.C. –At least three marathon runners from Prince George are in Boston and were taking part in today’s tragic race.
 
Two terrorist bombs exploded at the finish line, of the Boston Marathon,  killing at least two people, more than 50 others are injured, about 10 of them critically.
 
The Prince George Road Runners group has at least three of it’s members taking part in today’s race. The group’s facebook page indicates all three, have crossed the finish line and all three are said to be OK. Tanya Carter, and Steve Martin are now in their hotel having crossed the finish line  several minutes before the  first blast.
 
One former Boston Marathoner, says her experience was that once a runner has crossed the finish line, they “ are usually corralled into an area where they are to meet with family and pick up their gear."
 
One blast took place at the finish line   at 2:50 Eastern time, the second blast happened a couple of blocks back on the race route.
A third  bomb was located by   authorities and defused.
 
The U.S. President is expected to hold a media conference soon to bring people up to date.

Did anyone happen to notice Dr. Ron Walls on the news from Boston. He did PG proud. The UNC graduate Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital in Boston as well as professor, Harvard Medical School.
His bother use to run Budget Car Sales. Good guys both of them.
