Prince George, B.C.- Highway 16 East , 24 kms east of Prince George, has  been  opened to single lane alternating traffic.

Earlier today a young male driver lost control of his car and crashed on the highway, just east of the  Upper Fraser Road turn off.  He was ejected from the vehicle.

He  was taken to  hospital in Prince George, and is said tobe in  grave condition.contributing

At this time, investigators  say speed was a definite factor in the crash, but  have  yet to determine if  there were other factors.
