Prince George, B.C. – Three people have been arrested  and Prince George  RCMP’s Drug Task Force has  seized drugs  and  cash  in  a  drug investigation.

Police observed a known drug trafficker  enter a  suspected drug house  in the 2800 block of Clapperton Street on Wednesday afternoon. After the male left the residence,  police stopped the vehicle and arrested the 29 year Prince George resident for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.  In the subsequent search, police located approximately ten ounces of cocaine and brass knuckles, a prohibited weapon in Canada.

As the investigation progressed, police observed the targets of the investigation, a male and female, leave a residence.  The 39 year old male and 37 year old female were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.  The search of the male and female resulted in the seizure of a small quantity of marihuana and detailed documentation of their trafficking operation.

Police obtained and executed a Controlled Drugs & Substances Act search warrant at the residence on Clapperton Street.   An elderly couple and three children were located at the residence. The Ministry of Children and Family Development has been contacted.

After an extensive search, police located more than a kilogram of cocaine, a substantial amount of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

In total, more than 10,000 single flaps of cocaine were seized.  Police say they are  confident in saying this is one of the largest cocaine seizures in Prince George in recent years.

The investigation is ongoing, but police believe that charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking will be forwarded against those arrested.  Charges of Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon will also be forwarded against the 29 year old male.

Way to go guys. And IMHO, I really don’t care when there’s a drug and/or firearms bust and there’s no conviction, at least the crap is off the street and the idiots have to spend their ill gotten gains on a lawyer, looks good on them.
Conviction and jail is icing on the cake.

the cops will be partying hard this weekend!

Cmon abc, one disgusting cop amongst thousands. Yes they screw up and lose their integrity, it’s sickening. But they have a ton of damn good employees. Open your ears and eyes, go visit them, have a coffee with one of them. Or are you just going to continue to sit there and vent?

Very nice work RCMP. I’m glad you found what you did. Hopefully there will be convictions as well.
