Police Look for Suspect in Violent Sexual Assault

Prince George, B .C. – RCMP in Prince George are looking for a suspect in a violent sexual assault.
 
RCMP say a woman was walking through Lorne Park in Prince George around 9 last night, when she was accosted by a male who demanded money. The woman refused, and was punched and kicked before being sexually assaulted. A nearby neighbour heard the victim’s screams and helped the victim to end the attack.
 
The suspect got away.
 
The victim has told police she was walking with another woman who had noticed this male earlier and had expressed some concern for her own safety. Police would like to talk with that women.
 
Police have since learned that this male has approached a number of other females, including children, near Westwood and Massey, the CN Centre and the Pinewood neighbourhood.
 
The suspect is described as :
  • Indo Canadian,
  • About 20 years old,
  • 6’ tall and stocky build.
  • Clean shave, had a large dark coloured tattoo on is left arm.   He was wearing a hat, dark shorts, white, hightop basketball shoes with Velcro fasteners, and was carrying a backpack.
