Woman Falls Into Canyon East of Prince George

Prince George, B.C. – Emergency response personnel are dealing with a situation about 30 kilometres east of Prince George this afternoon.
250 News editor Elaine Macdonald says from the scene that it appears a woman has fallen from the observation area into the canyon at the spot where the Willow River crosses beneath Highway 16 east.
There are approximately six RCMP vehicles on scene, and an RCMP helicopter is on its way to that area. Prince George Search and Rescue crews are also involved in the search for the missing person.
