Prince George, B.C.- Residents in the Buckhorn region, south east of Prince George, will likely be allowed to return to their homes later today.
Evacuation orders were delivered to two residences in the Lund Road area, and 4 others put on evacuation alert yesterday because of a grass fire that got out of hand.
Crews from the Wildfire Management branch were called in to contain the blaze which quickly grew to 20 hectares. In addition to ground crews, an airtanker and helicopter assisted in battling the blaze.
