Prince George, B.C. – The Independent Investigations Office will be releasing its final report today on an incident that took place in Prince George in March.

That is the incident in which a suspect suffered serious injuries when he fell from an embankment. He was said to have been running from police who were responding to a complaint at an apartment building on Upland Street. (see previous story)

The Chief Civilian Director, Richard Rosenthal will be releasing the final report on this incident, around 10 this morning.

Don’t run!

I wonder if this commission has ever found the RCMP at fault, and unacceptable conduct.

Seems like the same old buddy buddy process.

The IIO or any such group will ever be good enough for those who assume that the RCMP is automatically guilty of every allegation leveled against them.
