The original intent of the Westminster system was not to have an unelected executive, but rather to have the Premier or Prime Minister appointed from within the legislature by the majority party.

If Christy lost her seat then we should have an election in the legislature from among the MLA’s that were elected. That’s how a democracy works.

This unelected executive puts party politics and all its corruption above democracy. That should not be acceptable to anyone who help to build and protect this country and the values we hold, such as respect for the democratic process.

Once someone steps down and allows Christy to run in the (safe) riding, she will then either get elected or not. That’s the way the system works.

Problem is the opposition parties, and fringe parties usually only make a half hearted effort to run a campaign against the leader in a safe riding. So basically the result is a foregone conclusion.

I don’t post negative stuff. When I post its an my opinion (based on common sense and widely available research) that I think opens up awareness for positive change. If that helps to hold some bad political actors to account than so be it, but when we all die all that is left is the record of truth and the honor of how we lived our own lives.

History is a great informer of what we can expect in the future, so historical events have value in today’s society and the direction of our world.

If having my own view translates into trying to find a way to enable free enterprise policies over globalism, monopoly capitalism, banksterism, or zionist gangsterism… then I can hold my head up with dignity knowing that I am on the side of right. If it means I’m not fooled by jingoism that enables human depravity, than that is something I won’t apologize for.
